Remembering
Graig Hill
How do you describe someone with so many talents, rich ideas, and creative stories, someone as deeply missed as Graig? Words themselves fall flat and are painfully insufficient to capture the unique life of such a son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Graig was never defined by a single role; he moved fluidly through many. As an artist he shaped clay, framed moments on film, sketched with pencils, wove meaning through words and ingredients alike. As a thinker he imagined better designs, invented new materials, built spaces both physical and unseen. And as a soul intimately connected to nature, he left his mark along trails by foot and pedal, and carved quiet paths across snow.
He was always in motion — and we will not let that movement come to an end. We will carry him forward. We will carry Graig with us in the stories we tell, the ideas we share, and the dreams we continue to build. We will find him in the mountains we’ve yet to climb and in oceans we’ve yet to swim. We will hold close his boundless sense of adventure, and the memories he leaves behind.
